Rees Davies Art Advisory
Rees Davies Art Advisory draws on over two decades of experience working with private collectors, interior designers, architects and organisations to source and acquire exceptional contemporary art, photography and sculpture.
Founder Juliet Rees Davies
From the gallery floor to international art fairs, private homes and design projects, Juliet Rees Davies' career has developed through longstanding relationships with artists, galleries, collectors, interior designers and architects.
Rees Davies Art Advisory is the next evolution of that experience.
Independent by design, the advisory is not tied to a single gallery, artist roster or aesthetic. Instead, Juliet works across the international contemporary art market, bringing together art, people and spaces.
What exactly Does an Art Advisor do?
Rees Davies Art Advisory sources works for clients and helps collectors build and develop their collections. This includes both the primary market working directly with artists, galleries and art fairs and the secondary market.
The role of an Art Advisor is to build a personal relationship with each client, creating access and identifying the right works. Sometimes, it is simply about making the right connections and sharing knowledge.

Our Art Advisory service draws on over two decades of experience in sourcing and acquiring contemporary art. We structure and curate collections, working alongside existing works or establishing new collections for private and corporate clients.
Working independently, we source internationally from an established network of artists, galleries and art fairs. We also arrange private commissions, creating unique works in response to individual spaces, collections and clients.
FOR COLLECTORS
Collecting art is a personal journey, whether acquiring a first work or developing an established collection.
Rees Davies Art Advisory offers independent guidance throughout the process, connecting collectors with established and emerging international artists and sourcing works through galleries, studios, art fairs and an extensive international network.
The approach is personal and considered bringing together knowledge, curiosity and instinct to build collections with meaning and individuality.
ART & INTERIORS
Art can transform an interior, creating character, atmosphere and a deeply personal sense of place.
Working with private clients, interior designers and creative teams, Rees Davies Art Advisory sources and curates contemporary art in dialogue with the surrounding space — considering scale, light, colour, materials and placement.
From a single statement work to a complete collection, the aim is to create a natural relationship between art, design and the way we live.
ART & ARCHITECTURE
The most successful relationship between art and architecture begins with conversation.
Collaborating with architects and design teams from the early stages of a project allows art to become part of the spatial experience rather than an addition at the end.
Through international art sourcing, curatorial direction and site-specific commissions, Rees Davies Art Advisory brings art, architecture and design together to create spaces with a distinct cultural and visual identity.
INTERNATIONAL ART FAIRS
Art fairs offer an extraordinary opportunity for discovery bringing artists, galleries, collectors and ideas together from across the international art world.
With over two decades of experience attending and participating in international art fairs as both an exhibitor and art advisor, Juliet Rees Davies provides independent guidance to collectors before, during and after a fair.
From identifying artists and galleries to evaluating potential acquisitions, the advisory brings knowledge, context and confidence to the experience while allowing the collector's own instinct to lead.
START A CONVERSATION
Every collection and project begins differently.
Whether you are considering your first acquisition, developing an existing collection, sourcing art for an interior or architectural project, or planning a visit to an international art fair, the conversation can begin wherever you are.
