NEW ARRIVALS is a reflection on the displacement of animal species as natural habitats are destroyed by deforestation or in the case of the polar bear, global warming impacting the North Pole. These environmental changes leaves animals with no choice but to relocate and migrate to new habitats.

This is the theme behind Swedish wildlife artist Per Ekros’s exhibition entitled NEW ARRIVALS. Each painting and sketch of the polar bear finds themselves in new alternative enviroments surrounded by new fauna and flora and new animal species.
